Little moments & big memories

So wanna take a second to talk, you can skip over this shit if you want. I'm not by means a writer but I have this contant inner dialouge which is nice to sometimes record for myself, ya mean.

So this weekend one of my closest pals- and someone who I owe a lot to for really watching me grow up since we met years ago- brought another life into the world. It was sudden and faster-happening then I was expecting cuz I guess you watch something grow for a while, you'd assume there'd be a lot more anticipation in the end. Certainly wasn't the case. It's exciting. There is a lot of thought and ideas in my head of the future - more laughs and crys and so much more stuff to learn - another little girl to watch grow!
But I've also been doing a lot of reflection of the past.
Thinking of when I first meet someone, whether its going to be a future best-friend, boyfriend, or even step sibling. It's like a big secret realm of what's to come and you sense it all in the first moment you meet. And so I try my best to remember, what we did the first day, what we talked about the first real conversation we had, when you realize silly things that you have in common that bind you - an instant bond you get to cherish for a long, long time to come. How cool is the world with all these intertanglings and growth and memories. Anyways. Calm and reflective over here.
